Podium Finishes for Open 6.50s in Border Run
Two of the three Open 6.50s racing in the Border Run finished on the podium in the PHRF Light B class. After racing 70 miles “Crash” and “Chupacabra” were involved in a tacking duel to the finish with “Crash” coming out on top to take 2nd place in the class only 41 seconds ahead! Read more

San Francisco Bay +1
There are now 6 boats sailing on San Francisco Bay! USA 288 - the black beauty - was sold at the Strictly Sail Pacific Boatshow in Oakland earlier this month. The Open 5.70 will be sailing out of the Alameda estuary alongside the other new boat on the Bay - USA 290. Pogo 2 Tooling ready to ship…
It’s been a busy month at Open Sailing with many races and the Oakland boat show. Fortunately, communicating with the French and Pogo Structures doesn’t overlap with our 12 hours working days. With 9 hours difference, we call the French at 6am our time (it’s only 3pm in France), so plenty of time to talk to everyone there and get things organized. Read more.

The Perfect Nav Light
At the boat show in Oakland we came across the perfect little navigation light for small boats. With the Border Run looming we needed a quick an easy solution for the 3 Open 6.50s and here it was - the Red / Green Navi light. We bought two for each boat on the spot. Read More
