Invitation to Key West
“There will be a start for a 20’ Sportboat class at this year’s Key West Race Week. We extend an invitation to one design 20’ Sportboats of similar size (20-22’ LOA), including the Laser SB3, Melges 20, Ultimate 20, Viper 640, Open 6.50, Open 5.70 and other similar designs as approved by Premiere Racing.” Read more.

The Great Pumpkin
The fleet in San Francisco is becoming more and more established with at least 5 boats showing up at all the big races on the Bay. The Great Pumpkin Regatta was no exception with 5 Open 5.70s racing one design on Saturday and then 4 boats racing around the Bay in the pursuit race on Sunday. Read more.

Single Handed Challenge
On Saturday October 17th Redondo Beach Yacht Club hosted the Sixth Annual Frank Guernsey Single-Handed Challenge Race. This year there were two open boats – Jerome was out sailing on the Open 6.50 “Chupacabra” and Tracey Kenney took her Open 5.70 “Hat Trick”. Read more.
