One Design Racing in San Francisco Bay

April is an exciting month for the Open 5.70 in San Francisco. There have been boats sailing on the bay for a while now but so far all the racing has been PHRF. All that is about to change. On April 18th Tiburon Yacht Club is hosting the first ever one-design start for the Open 5.70 in San Francisco Bay.

Since the launch Isaac, the new owner, has been sailing almost every day. With a slip on the main channel in the marina it's easy for him to go out single handed for a couple of hours in the afternoon. See some pictures & videos here.
