The new Open Sailing dolly for the Open 5.70 allows the boat to be stored on the dry with the keel down. This makes launching faster and allows the boat to be easily cleaned, buffed or repaired. Contact us for more information. (more…)

Jerome and Nik recently took and passed the ASA Keelboat Instructor Clinic. They are now both certified to teach keelboat sailing and award students with an ASA Basic Keelboat Certifcation (ASA 101).

In January next year Open Sailing will be opening a High Performance Sailing School in Marina del Rey, CA. The entry level course will be ASA Basic Keelboat Sailing. Subsequent courses will educate the student in all aspects of sailing related to racing including; Asymmetrical Spinnakers, Racing Tactics, Performance Sail Trim, and others. All the courses are being developed to create confident and competitive keel boat racers. The basic courses will be taught on the exciting Open 5.70 and the more advanced courses will introduce the students to the extreme Open 6.50.
