USA 288 came out of the factory today… and it looks good evil!

The hull is black gelcoat with black bottom paint and the foils are orange – it also has the new carbon look cabin roof. It’s currently  for sale and is located at our new office (4695 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey) so come by and check it out. The boat is rigged and ready to go and we’ll even give you a deal on storage and our launching service. If you don’t hesitate then you’ll still have time to practice before the next one-design race – Les Storrs on March 27th!

Two more new Open 5.70s are being delivered in the next few weeks. USA 280 is headed to Newport, Rhode Island bringing the fleet in the area up to four boats total – just one away from being able to race one-design. The other new boat will be spending a little time in Marina del Rey before heading up to Ventura. Welcome to the fleet!

Two more Open 6.50s were delivered to Open Sailing, Inc today all the way from France.

The red Open 6.50, shown on the right, is hull number 7 and although it is a used boat it is in very good condition. Open Sailing plans to race this boat in Southern California. With USA 017 already racing in the area there will be two of these boats on the line in the very near future.

The black Open 6.50 is not black at all, it is actually a clear coat which when you look more closely allows you to see the beautiful carbon fibre weave in all it’s glory. This brand new boat is currently for sale. Be warned if you see this boat you may just fall in love and have to buy it right there on the spot – it certainly is one of the best looking boats around!
